TAI Woffinden, Britain's brightest young star, will guest for Belle Vue in their War of the Roses challenge match at Sheffield on Thursday (7 45).
The 19-year-old Wolverhampton captain, a former Sheffield rider who will ride in this year's World championship Grand Prix, has been given permission by his club to ride for the Autogate Aces in place of their injured Danish rider, Charlie Gjedde.

HANS Andersen, Belle Vue's new skipper, is backing his young Danish teammate, Patrick Hougaard, to hit the speedway heights.
Andersen is captain of Team Denmark's World Cup side, winning the trophy twice, while Hougaard leads their Under-21 team.
Hougaard is still only 20 and will be seeking World Under-21 individual and team honours after making the rostrum in both finals last year.

 BELLE Vue star Charlie Gjedde is having a scan in Denmark today (Monday) after injuring his left knee during a practice session at Stoke on Saturday.
Gjedde, who has just started his comeback after being out since last July with a shoulder injury, was thrown through the safety fence after a collision with his Belle Vue colleague Patrick Hougaard.
An initial X-ray showed that nothing was broken but his knee is very swollen and he has gone home to see a specialist.

BELLE Vue will roll back the years when they open their 2010 campaign with the War of the Roses match at Sheffield on March 18.
It is much more than a seasonal pipe opener for the Elite League Aces against their traditional rivals who now race in the Premier League.
Pride will be at stake for the teams and their supporters, not forgetting team managers Chris Morton and Eric Boocock.
