BELLE Vue legend Peter Collins has been giving the benefit of his experience to try to help James Wright through a loss of form.
Stockport-based Wright has suffered a run of poor scores and the Autogate Aces need him back on song for their run-in to the season, starting with next Monday's tough home Elite League match against in-form Coventry at Kirkmanshulme Lane (7 30).
Team boss Chris Morton has talked over the situation with Wright and now 1976 World champion Collins, who has worked with him in the past, has stepped in as well.

ULRICH Ostergaard, Belle Vue's Danish rider, suffered a double fracture just below the knee of his left leg in a horror pile-up at Coventry last night.
He was in a first-bend tangle at the start of the fourth heat with teammate Peter Karlsson and Coventry captain Chris Harris, all three being hurled into the safety fence.
Ostergaard came off worst and was taken off the track by ambulance to Coventry's Walsgrave hospital. But Karlsson also took no further part in the meeting after taking a heavy blow to a shoulder.

BELLE Vue bosses are thumbing anxiously through their diaries trying to find a new date for the home Elite League match against Swindon which was rained off on Monday.
The only plus point for the Autogate Aces is that the postponement will give Hans Andersen, their captain and No 1, more time to complete his recovery from the broken finger he suffered in the Scandinavian Grand Prix in Sweden.
Andersen was due to ride on Monday only eight days after the jarring fall at Malilla which left him feeling 'as if I'd been run over by a train.'

BELLE Vue are waiting for a late fitness check on their captain and No 1 Hans Andersen ahead of tonight's home Elite League matahc against Swindon at Kirkmanshulme Lane (7 30).
Andersen broke a finger and was badly shaken up after a heavy crash in last week's Scandinavian Grand Prix in Sweden.
Chris Morton, the Autogate Aces team boss, said: "Hans intends to ride and we need to be at full strength if we are to win by more than seven and take all three league points."
