That one didn't make it on to the MEN website, though they did have the story of a partnership with Booth Hall & Pendlebury children's hospitals - which in my book is an excellent idea and a win:win arrangement. Good PR for a change!

As for the story you quote, I think you have to allow a certain amount of licence - that story may be a public rail against the grading regulations, but in private they will have other irons in the fire. You wouldn't spend weeks chasing one rider without contingencies in the event of something going wrong, particularly with the season a couple of weeks away.
