Keith,

An excellent and perceptive point. One with which I totally agree.

Joy to you.

Ron.

to andy m,brian renshaw and vintage ace i'm no la la land train driver and as both of you appear too immature to accept that someone has an opinion that may differ to yours its a very sad world you live in! why do we want riders who don't want to ride for us??? would you like Rory guesting for us next year in the elite league play off final?? would he give 100%? would you trust him? i never turned on jason lyons and wouldn't nor would i on joe screen both riders moved on too further there careers is that what Rory's doing?? THINK NOT!! he's looking at the short term prospects! sorry for not thinking like a sheep! i accept your choices and opinions but clearly its not enough to accept that in return!!

How have we been immature, Steve? We've simply marshalled better arguments to counter yours. For example, I respect your right to believe that Rory is making a short-term decision to ride for Coventry - but I bet you're the only person to think so. If that makes the rest of us sheep, so be it - let's see who's right in practice, shall we?

Oh, and I certainly would use a true professional like Rory to guest for us, should the occasion arise. Why wouldn't you? Has he ever given less than 100% for any team he's represented?

andym,
Glad you think you've marshalled better arguments... I thought I was the one who thought I was always right!

if rory would rather ride for coventry thats his choice but why agree a deal with belle vue then back out? who's telling the truth Rory or John Perrin/ian thomas who offered to match the same deal! how do you know he'd give 100%? why would you trust him? yes he has given less than 100% for both edinboro and belle vue on the run up to world under 21's meetings! i agree you do put up a good arguement but i'm saying the jury would be out on if he's trustworthy if he guested

He agreed terms, but didn't agree to sign until he'd seen all the options. What's wrong with that? You'd probably do the same if you were buying a car or a house!

I find it better to support a side where as many as possible spill blood and guts for the cause. Rory has chosen to take his blood and guts to Coventry. I am sure their fans will be happy with him.
Be honest though, how many BV fans will have a slight chuckle if it goes a little pear shape for him at Brandon? Come on, a few on here did when Jason's move to Poole went stale.
