Default they way to win the elite league

i feel like in the last few years we need to follow people like poole and bend the rules to suite our favour and to get as stronger reserve pair as possible. poole did it allowing them to have a good rider at reserve all season long. next 2 riders signed should be the reserves and then fill up the blanks with whats left depending on averages. we seem to go all out signing heat leaders and second strings and end up with losers filling us up

Seems you're attributing to the new management team the faults of the Perrin era. Ian Thomas seems to be doing a perfectly good job in team-building without "bending the rules" at all. A good balanced team filled with plenty of potential is the way to start a championship team. It's also in the team management, preparation of the home circuit and effective tactics (team riding order being a good example.) Seems to me you can't fault Ian in any of these particulars.

As for whether we follow the Poole example and blatantly cheat, doubt if you'll find many genuine fans who think that's an example worth following.

Preferably you meed two riders who are going to put ' add-on' to their present avearage..... Lyons and Stead( if we sign him) would definiteley qualify fo add-on potential!!!

...so long as having them at reserve didn't weaken the team elsewhere. In all honesty, I'd sooner have one experienced reserve and one young kid with bags of potential on a 3-point average. Sometimes they hit it big, and if the rest of the team are good enough they should't be under any pressure to score. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Your computer is running a week behind.
We've already signed one reserve last week!

here's an idea how to win the elite league, lets win more matchs than any one else, then win the play offs. ha ha ha ha simple but effective.

To blazes with this "bend the rules and win the league at all costs" attitude. Why can't people just be grateful to watch what will hopefully be good racing once again at Kirky Lane.

Steve-scfc telling us how to win the Elite League and Ian Fowler providing us with much needed inside information on how to accumulate points and they say modern motivational management is in decline!

Move aside Mole and Thomas, tghis new scientific approach looks the bees knees.

didn't quite mean bend the rules but Poole do seem to have a habit of getting riders on lower averages than they should really have
