the areas shouldnt have been opened if they are still as, if not more dangerous than before - the whole setup at kirky lane is a joke anyway - and before people start getting on their high horse, im not having a go at the management. Like ive said before, it wouldnt take alot to get a few skips in, and make the seating area on the 3rd/4th bend a pleasant area because its the only viable to place, bar the grandstand, to actually see anything - goes back to the age old agrument - how do you attract new customers if you cant actualyl see whats going on. My kids used to love coming to watch but cant bored cos they cant really see anything and whn you sit them on the barriers on the home straight, you get some toy cop moving them on

The people who attended the Grass Track at Much Hoole yesterday stood in an open field and used Portaloos and were grateful to have the chance to do so.
I am saying if you do not like the grassy areas and turn 3/4 then at least you have the chance to go into the Main Stand.
I stood for years on the 3/4 bend until it was closed last time due to complaints, I had no complaints and having nearly lost speedway in Manchester I was really happy to do so, and so were the fans who stood with me, we all felt it was better to watch from there than from inside and as we were coming from Hyde Road which had no inside and was at this time falling into disrepair we saw little difference and we just wanted racing.
By the way the money you pay for your burger, beer, car park etc. is to the stadium owner as is the rent that speedway pay and your entry money pays for this rent and the riders wages and the running costs entailed in keeping speedway going
Who's standards are not being reached here I am not sure but I would still be happy to see speedway in a field with temporary loos and a tannoy system on metal poles than no speedway at all in Manchester.
WAKE UP !!!GRA an kirky lane are slowly killing the aces the stadium owner raises prices for speedway an carnt afford a skip the whole stadium sept the granstand should be shut its not safe end of ! belle vue needs a new track even if its in a field at least u get gud racing at grass meetings un like vue stop livein on past glorys an move on new track in the prem bigger crowds better racein more fans more facilatys simples!!!!!!!!!!!!

RIP, if you weren't whinging in Greek hyrogliphics about the seventy five potential lawsuits you and your family somehow by the grace of god, avoided whilst eating your six pound fifty cardboard and chips, I may even take you and your fellow verbal vomiteer, Redace, one percent seriously.

As someone with slightly more to worry about than you pair of old women, not to mention thirty percent more wailers who come on here spouting nothing but negativity, I feel I must disagree with your somewhat selfish, self centered, self righteous views on a promotion who are doing the best they can in rented accomadation.

Perhaps we should move to OT or Eastlands and then you can complain about the twenty quid cardboard and chips on top of the four hundred quid admission fee that would go nowhere near to paying the rent just like the sixteen quid fee at Kirky Lane doesn't.

Get a life or quit whinging you tosspot.

Easy option for the GRA would be to close everywhere but the main stand.
Most people treat 'elf and safety' as a bit of a joke , and it seems from the reports I heard that the GRA stadium management have been somewhat lax with their legal H & S requirements. No doubt the speedway and the stocks will get the fallout from that in due course.
