I stood next to Ken this year at Wolverhampton and only recognised him from his hat, how bizzare.

Just been reading the posts about the John Davis/Wilkie incident out to Hubby to see if he remembered it.....he did, he says that there was a stabbing after the meeting & Belle Vue nearly got shut down!
Anybody else remember that?

He says Davis must have been mad to have a go at Wilkie given that he used to be a rugby player!

None of this means anything to me as I only started going in '81.

I think it was Mort on the bike and Stuart Smith in the car,it only took three laps for Mort to catch up.
