monday night is going to be fascinating now the hancock debacle is settled.I know its wishful thinking, clutching straws,a slim chance,a faint hope.AJ might have been swayed by the new promotion???? In one sense, some of us may have done the new promotion a disservice, getting carried away by the rumours. I, like many people, have commented on how, without Hancock, we may as well turn the lights off and forget next year.
I know the new promotion has been working tirelessly on a team and, like all true fans, will support their decisions and get behind the team, whatever we hear on Monday, and whoever we decide to go with. It will just be like watching City - not a hope in hell in winning anything, but we'll offer the best support there is if we see the team trying!

I have just started reading the Speedway Star on page two at the bottom is an article about Neil Collins and the fact that this is his is last season and he has no team place at Newport nor a farewell meeting as Tim Stone has done the dirty on him be saying his services are not needed there.

In my absence on Monday evening I wanted someone to ask the Management if they could kindly stage a farewell meating at Belle Vue for Neil who has been a great servant to speedway even no his racesuit has Aces on the arms which proves he still has a great affection for the club.

He's only got aces on his leathers because they are the same one's he has had for 43 years [:P]

One thing about Neil is that you always get 100% effort even if it is for third place.
