Default Cardiff Hotels

After buying tickets for the 2009 British GP I thought I would TRY to book a hotel. The majority in Central Cardiff are already full but the Holiday Inn has only recently opened booking for the GP weekend so if anyone is looking (and can afford a small mortagage to stay over) there are rooms available at the Holiday Inn.

you must have contacts as there are no rooms available at all according to central booking - what a rip off anyway I hope now they do move to Wembley and it will teach them right for being so damn greedy

If your prepared to budget for taxi's or have a nomited driver you can find some excellent digs out in the sticks.Last year we stayed in a place called Sully the digs were right on the beach of the estuary. This year we had a cottage to ourselves in Pontyprdd which we have already booked for next year

Can't understand why people clamber to stay in Cardiff anymore, such a rip off since they got used to the Speedway world invading thier place for the weekend.
We always look for somewhere outside, still get two nights at a decent rate.

Have stayed in B&B's in the sticks as Rooster suggested but this year went to the Travelodge in Bridgend, booked it again for 09, same price,
