talking of farce and mystery, what was Hancock on about "stuff going on behind the scenes" for next seasons GP's?

I cant believe how poor JC was last night. His motors just didnt see to have the speed, and even though some riders were using the outside line to good effect JC was riding the inside half of the track, and getting nowhere. Certainly a meeting that JC will want to forget.I know the whole meeting was a farce from the moment it was shifted from Germany, but even so I would have expected a brighter performance from JC

He probably just had an off-night; just like all the great riders have had.

Collins, Mauger, Craven, Oliver; they all had their bad meetings.

Even the greatest rider ever to don a Belle Vue race jacket, the legendary Jack Parker had one or two that I witnessed. In those days we just sympathised with the man.

Why should Crump be any different, He's just a man and subject to the frailties that affect us all at times,

Maybe he too felt the injustice of gifting Gollob with the superprix - what are the promotion thinking bout there must have been somewhere other than there to run a meeting and make it fairer for all

why didnt they run it at Belle Vue for example how would some of the riders liked that. Oh and how much did Scott Nichols bottle it again!

I just think all oomph went out of him as soon as Pedersen won his first ride. Jason looked great in his first ride but after seeing Pedersen win his first ride he looked slow out of the starts and was passed easily on occasions. Credit to the man though, he was one of the first to congratulate Nicki on his win.
