CHARLIE Gjedde will lead Belle Vue into the 2009 season as a fully-fledged member of the team. The 28-year-old Dane raced for the One51 Aces on loan from Swindon this year but the clubs have agreed an exchange deal with Simon Stead going to the Wiltshire track.
Stead opted not to ride for Belle Vue this year, preferring to race on loan at the bigger Coventry track and now the Aces have cut their ties with the Sheffield-based rider completely.
