Quote from TERRY.

Joseph Screen will be like a rat up a drain pipe this season.

Amazingly perceptive of our friend from across the pond.[8D]

Wolves used an illegal tactical ride in heat 14 by bringing in Klindt who wasn't in the race. I gather referee Phil Griffin has admitted afterwards that he made a mistake allowing it and Belle Vue will be appealing to get the points removed so hopefully score will end up being 49-41 eventually.
dont think so.

Surely Klindt was just on a reserve ride in place of hefenbrock, so then he is allowed to go as a tactical ride???

On the whole quite a decent start but it showed that Wolves had had a meeting before!! As for the track i was disgusted!! there shouldn't be dust in heat 1!!
Did you see what the track was like at 10am? It was wet and very heavy, riders asked for it to be bladed. With the sun out and the strong win of course you are going to get dust from the top surface.
to be fair Rob no i didn't and wasn't aware of that as i was stuck queuing outside!! to be honest i'm not a morning match fan because as you said on another thread track tends to be crap as they can't get any water into it

Like I put referee has admitted afterwards that he made a mistake and shouldn't of allowed it. Of course they could of put it on Hansen and wouldn't have made a difference.

Will the points be removed or is the referees original decision going to stand? Has this happened before? If so what was the outcome? I hate the T/R rule, regardless of whether it goes for or against us. You don't see teams in other sports being punished for winning. I know it's been in operation for some years now but how and why was it agreed?

must say the track was atrocious when I arrived at 10.00 and there was no way it could have been left in that state.
IMO if it was dry last night the track would have been spot on.
