Default Aces v Poole 27/07/09

we are going out of the cup because we won't win enough races off Poole's top 4

I have to agree. Any of their top 3 are capable of going through the card

your presuming of course that Bjarne isnt going to have another off night and that Hans is going to be totally fit which may be the only hopes we can have of them having a bad night at kirky lane.

Think we are going to need a miracle. Season ends here folks.

Whilst there is day and night we will not compete with there top 4. Insult to injury is that Boxall is at reserve, before he left he had a couple of good meetings around BV. Will need MASSIVE bit of luck to even stand a chance. Think this could actually be our biggest home defeat this year and heaviest for some time.

Thumbs down

Would agree with Proy. We will be in for a real hiding, a number 1 and six reserves cannot beat 5 and 2 reserves. impossible is nothing.I will be there but this self punishment can't go on as I cant see BV winning anything else in my life time but then I am a pessimist.
Belle Vue 30 Poole 60.

Have to disagree here, Our No1 and the so called 6 reserves beat Poole away. Eastie away and Ippo away.
We are above Poole in the league and have rode fewer matches and as been proven time and time again, its reserves that win matches not a strong top end and nowt else.
A close match is on the cards but I would expect a home win of between 4-8 pts.

Are we forgetting that Bjarne is having an off season and Hans is not the same Hans of last season as for Joe he still blows hot and cold, 4pts from 4 rides last night.
League positions don't lie, especially at this stage of the season and a home win is deffo possible.

I'm in the pessimistic camp. They will be highly motivated for this. I think Boxall will be their trump card - he scored 10 for us at home before we dumped him and will have a point to prove. Don't think we will loose by thirty (that's tonight at Swindon) but think we will loose by at least 10.

The only chance we have would be if Charlie re discovered his form and Morten was as good as he was when he scored 17 odd but he hasn't done it again since.

Poole have just drawn at Lakeside (who are definitely a better side than us) so they are the team in form, not us.

Yes, Joe had 4 from 4, but you forgot to mention, Noddy 14, Bjarnne 11+3, and Hans 10 + 1.

I dont think that Steve will make much of an impression, Davidson will be his usual KL rubbish, and Ben will only be there to make up the numbers. Joe will have a point to make, although I don't think he will score too many. With three heat leaders to our one however,I will be surprised if Poole score less than 50.
Yes they are still bottom of the league, but they are not the team that they were two months ago
