Default Poole v Aces 10/9/09

Weather for the week is very good so Poole meeting unlikely to be off. Be interesting to see who we can get for a guest and if Crumpie is away for GP practice will Anderson for Poole be doing the same?

The only way we can avoid the wooden spoon is to get a point at Poole. With a junior replacing Crump there's no chance of that. With Crump in the side there's a chance.

Therefore in view of the importance of this meeting is there any way the promotion can get Crump to change his mind and ride at Poole?
There's no logistical reason why he can't ride at Poole and still be at GP practice in oodles of time. (Hans Andersen will be doing it).

I'm still waiting for Belle Vue to confirm, last heard they were waiting back from BSPA, but general opinion is its going to be a junior, hopefully not.

When was the date changed to Sept 10 for Poole? I can only assume this was agreed before Crumpy was signed. A junior in for Jason is a complete and utter farce. We are looking at a 60 - 30 job at best. Just give Poole 3 pts to save everyone their time and money. How many more times are the Aces gonna get shafted by the bspa. This ain't the first time juniors have replaced our good riders. I remember facing Coventry in ko cup a couple of years ago with Swiderski in for Crumpy. You knew you were going no further in that comp. Swidders did ok but that isn't the point. Anyway let's get the 3 points tonight first.

It's the Belle Vue management's fault for agreeing to this date they had been talking to Crump for weeks yet the still agreed to this date. Mickey mouse management like getting Bager on thursday who got ZERO a few weeks ago at Ipswich.

Maybe the management are talking to Crump about doing this meeting. Maybe Crump will realise the importance of the fixture and realise that he needs to ride.

But if he doesn't ride, then we shouldn't be entitled to a guest. To allow a guest in such circumstances would be giving carte blanche for every rider in the league to "do a Lewis Bridger" and miss any meeting they don't fancy.

The only thing in our favour is that on the Thursday before Latvian GP both Scott Nicholls and Hans Andersen didn't ride and both had R/R, flights are available to Latvia early Friday morning.

We should be entitled to a guest look up Ipswich v Poole 30th of July they rode on a thursday on a gp week and both Nicholls and Andersen did not ride and they were allowed R/R.
