You mean there are sometimes showers at Belle Vue - showers that would rain on my party.

Worry not. old friend, I've had a word with the lovely (and aptly named) Louise Lear. She has promised, nay guaranteed, that it will not rain on Christmas Day.

I have invited Ms Lear to be guest of honour - or of dishonour should her promise prove not to be watertight!
