Brian, you deserve a pat on the back. You are making a huge contribution and fair play to you.
I'm sure nobody will go away from the home of speedway disappointed with the slick, professional product that Tony, Ian and co are practically giving away for fourteen quid.
It's the best night out in town and there is also an excellent chance of a home win to put the icing on the cake as well.
The GRA will seriously have to consider expanding the capacity of the stadium the way things are going.

Changing the subject Brian, will you notify me when the Showcase are showing "Take the money and run" starring Fatty Arbuckle and Spencer Tracy?
I believe it was filmed locally.

What else is there to do on a Saturday night in Eastbourne?

Seems like a good move, if the weather is good a weekend away in Eastbourne watching the Aces triumph!

Well I hope I'm making some small contribution as I was talking to a family of four at the Coventry match on Monday evening who had been to the Showcase on Monday evening and had seen our Aces Ad/Offer on the cinema tickets and had come along to Kirky Lane for the very first time.

I'm expecting a large influx of new visitors, especially families when Star Wars comes out in Mid May and the cinemas will be full.

A few of the Showcase and Red cinema staff have used the tickets to make their first visits to Kirky Lane.

Excellent news Baz.

Glad to hear your already seeing results coming through.

Cheers

Next Wednesday we were due to be at Arena, Arena have called off their meeting with Swindon tomorrow night and have rearranged it for next Wednesday and said the Belle Vue fixture will have to wait till later in the year!

This is not the first time they have done this, they did it to us last year aswell. Really annoyed as I had time booked off work.

That's really not on. No doubt Russell is planning on getting our match on tv...

How can this be allowed?

We are the scheduled vistors next week. There is absolutely nothing in the rules that say Swindon should take priority...in fact quite the opposite.

Why did Arena call off tonight's match two days in advance?

Quite simply Mr Russell knows we will beat his weak team next week and doesn't want us to have the points.
Of course he is quite happy for another Russell team (Swindon) to have the points though.

It's completely bent.

Surely its time we had an independent governing body rather than let the Russell Mafia make a mockery of the sport?

What has Ian Thomas got to say about this?
